DR. HUANG

Carmine Vacchio, PA, AAPA, has been a practicing Physicians Assistant for over 13 years and has worked alongside some of the foremost doctors in the field of dermatology. He is a graduate of Touro College’s PA program, and was the President of the 2004 class. Upon graduating, he immediately entered into the field of Dermatology and began working as Dr. Frank DeMento’s PA at Schweiger Dermatology Group in Garden City, Long Island.

At Schweiger, Mr. Vacchio spent the first 13 years of his career mastering and honing his skills in Dermatology. Developing a keen interest in the treatment of psoriasis and performing cosmetic surgeries. Carmine truly considers Dermatological medicine to be his passion; he’s an active member of both the New York Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Dermatology. His interest in skincare and skincare aesthetics, along with years of quality experience, motivated him to set out on his own, and form Long Island Dermatology, of Manhasset.

Carmine is the son of Italian immigrants and is fluent in Italian, himself. He’s got 3 children of his own now, with his lovely wife. And during his time off, Carmine and his family can be found spending quality time along the beaches of Long Island.
